SC Magdeburg remains unbeaten in the Machineseeker EHF Champions League and wins against HC Zagreb 27:22. The reactions and statistics of the game.

Zagreb coach Andrija Nikolić : “That was a good game, which Magdeburg ultimately won. Congratulations for that. They were better today. But we’re not doing badly either, and hope that we can do even better next week.”

Bennet Wiegert: “There’s a great feeling right now. We played a perfect first half of the season in the Champions League. If someone had said that before, we would have taken it that way. This is now a nice interim goal that we have achieved. It may not have been perfect today, but still: We got the two points and that’s what matters. And we have no urge to let go. We want to continue to invest and continue to deliver.”

Matej Mandic: “We won the game and of course I’m overjoyed. It was a game against my friends and therefore a mental challenge, but I would say I solved it well. We have a few problems at the beginning today, but then we pick up the pace – that was the key.”
