What makes handball special for you?
It’s a fast, intense sport. There’s a lot of tactics behind it, and you have to make decisions all the time without knowing exactly what’s going to happen next. You have an idea of what might come and build on that. Handball is a mixture of planning and spontaneity – that’s exactly what makes it so appealing to me.

What do most people on the pitch overlook that makes you who you are?
I play a lot of golf, especially in the summer. When I was young, I trained a lot in the team and I think I’m still quite good. That is perhaps my talent away from handball.
Your tip for young up-and-coming handball players?
You should always train hard, watch a lot of games, and try to understand why certain things work and others don’t. If you really love the sport, it’s easier for you – then it comes automatically.
