The season hasn’t really started yet, but the Machineseeker EHF Champions League is already casting its shadow! In the 2026/27 season, SC Magdeburg will once again offer a Champions Card for the home games of the group stage.
As last year, there will be a combined ticket for all SCM home games in the Machineseeker EHF Champions League. The new format means that three games are included in the group stage. Due to the change in the competition, the booking of the group stage is a prerequisite for a reservation and pre-purchase option in later rounds of the Machineseeker EHF Champions League.
The prices range from 32.00 (standing room reduced) to 130.00 euros (category 1 premium).
Partners and customers who already have a season ticket for the Opel Handball Bundesliga at SCM will receive a one-time pre-purchase option in the period from August 6 to 16, 2026. If this option is not exercised, the reservation and pre-purchase options will expire for the subsequent rounds. Unbooked tickets will be put on sale.
The free sale of the SCM Champions Card will take place from 25 August at 12 noon in the SCM online shop and in the fan shop (Breiter Weg 190, 39104 Magdeburg). Sales for the first game against Kolstad will start on 2 September.
Season ticket holders and partners were also informed about the modalities by e-mail.
From this season, 24 clubs will compete against each other – eight more than last season. Initially, the clubs will start in six groups of four. The top two qualify for the main round, the third and fourth-placed teams continue the season in the EHF European League.
In the main round, the new format provides for two groups of six. The best four will then advance to the quarterfinals. For fifth place, they will then continue in the EHF European League, the bottom of the group will be eliminated.
The semi-finals and final will be played as usual at the TruckScout24 EHF FINAL4 in Cologne. This will take place on June 12 and 13, 2027 in the LANXESS arena.
