For the youngsters of SC Magdeburg, the last game of the season is on Sunday. At HC Eintracht Hildesheim, they want to build on their recent successful home win and end the season successfully.
The hosts from Hildesheim currently occupy fifth place in the table and have been one of the top teams throughout the season. Most recently, the team impressed with a clear 39-26 away win at HSG Ostsee, but also had to accept a defeat against Stralsund HV beforehand.
The YoungsterS travel with the goal of completing the season successfully. Although there was a defeat away at HC Empor Rostock recently, the team showed its quality once again in the last home game against HSG Eider Harde and secured a victory. With 35:23 points and seventh place in the table, the team can look back on a strong season.
The first leg against Hildesheim was lost 35-30 for the Magdeburgers. For long stretches, the game was balanced, but the hosts used their chances more consistently and pulled away decisively with high speed.
Now the YoungsterS want to give it their all in the last game of the season and say goodbye to the season with a strong performance. Kick-off in the Volksbank-Arena Hildesheim is at 5 p.m.
