With the last game against HC Eintracht Hildesheim, this year’s season of the North-East season ended for the YoungsterS. This also means some changes for the well-rehearsed team. So the team and fans have to say goodbye to several players at once.

With the transfer of Monty Kleinsteuber to the Eulen Ludwigshafen and Pablo Lange to TuS Ferndorf, the YoungsterS leaves a well-rehearsed left wing duo. Despite being in the same position, they were a good addition on the pitch and both showed strong development. There will be a reunion in Ludwigshafen, because Phileas Daniel will also move to the Eulen in the 2nd division.

Backcourt player Leon Bahr will also leave the YoungsterS and continue his path with HC Eintracht Hildesheim. During his time with the YoungsterS, he showed strong playing styles in all three backcourt positions and developed into a consistent player both defensively and offensively in defence.

Niklas Döbbel already had a second right to play at Dessau-Roßlauer HV this season and will now fully support the team from the coming season. From the A-youth he switched to the YoungsterS early on and adapted quickly through his diligence.

And the Magdeburgers also have to say goodbye to Mattis Heiß, who is taking the furthest step to Slovenia to RK Celje.

“I’m happy for everyone who takes the next step! I very, very much enjoyed working with them and we can look back on a really strong season!” said coach Christoph Theuerkauf.

With Theuerkauf as coach, who already extended his contract during the season until at least 2028, the YoungsterS will then start the season with new support from the A-Youth. With Oskar Pakebusch, Janne Pillich and Filip Begic, several players from the A-youth team move up to the squad. In addition, Theuerkauf will continue to rely on the use of the A-youth players in the future, as already this season by Mats Brigzinsky, Tim Thielicke or Raphael Welsch. Malte Elze should also be able to develop in parallel with the YoungsterS despite appearances in the Bundesliga squad. “We have great youth work. We are all pulling together. I’m already looking forward to the new season,” Theuerkauf looks ahead.
