Terms and conditions of participation for the competition “Your place for your volunteering – #ehrentrIBüne”
The organizer of this competition is Handball Magdeburg GmbH, Friedrich-Ebert-Straße 68, 39114 Magdeburg. The competition is active from 25.08.2026 up to and including 30.06.2027. Participation is only possible within this period.
How can I participate?
The description and procedure of the respective competition will take place as part of the respective competition campaign on the Facebook or website of SC Magdeburg. Every application sent to Handball Magdeburg GmbH up to 72 hours (9:00 a.m.) before the next matchday takes part in the competition. Participation is free of charge and only possible via the completed application form. The winner will be selected at random from all applicants 72 hours before the home game at 10:00 a.m. by two employees of Handball Magdeburg GmbH or third parties designated by them. By participating in the competition as described above, the participant accepts these terms and conditions.
Who is allowed to participate?
Anyone who has a permanent residence in Germany and is over 18 years of age is eligible to participate. Employees and freelancers of Handball Magdeburg GmbH and their relatives are excluded from participation.
What will be raffled?
Up to 20 places for volunteers in the two upper rows of Block Z will be raffled off among all eligible participants. Cash payment is excluded.
Notes on the ticket contingent:
Handball Magdeburg GmbH provides non-profit institutions in Saxony-Anhalt, where mainly volunteers work, ticket contingents for the home games of SC Magdeburg free of charge. The selection of the clubs is the responsibility of Handball Magdeburg GmbH. However, parties and other political associations are excluded.
Block Z in the GETEC ARENA includes seats in the upper tiers, which remain reserved for any away spectators up to 10 days before the respective home game. After call-off/partial call-off or complete cancellation, the remaining tickets will go into the raffle for the home games. The ticket contingent is therefore flexible. If certain games for home games are fully called up by away spectators, no tickets can be provided for the volunteers. On the other hand, the contingents will increase on other, less frequented match days. So that a total of up to 340 volunteers are invited to home games free of charge.
How will I be informed about my prize?
The winners will be notified directly by Handball Magdeburg GmbH. For this purpose, Handball Magdeburg GmbH collects personal data such as name, e-mail, Facebook account and telephone number. The tickets will be sent by e-mail as a print@home ticket. If the personal data submitted by the winner is incorrect, exclusion may be made.
Handball Magdeburg GmbH assumes no liability if, for reasons beyond its control, the notification of the prize is lost during electronic transmission and/or does not reach the winner. The winner must respond within 24 hours, otherwise the prize will be forfeited and an alternative winner will be drawn.
Special Note Photography
The winner (i.e. all club members who will take a seat on the #ehrentrIBüne) agrees that he or she will be shown in photos for the documentation of the event, which can be published on the websites of Investitionsbank Sachsen-Anhalt (www.ib-sachsen-anhalt.de) and Handball Magdeburg GmbH (www.scm-handball.de) and used for other reporting on the event. This includes the use of the images in the context of press and public relations work and internal and external communication of the Investitionsbank Sachsen-Anhalt and Handball Magdeburg GmbH as well as their social media channels. You are aware that Investitionsbank Sachsen-Anhalt and Handball Magdeburg GmbH have no influence on whether third parties use the content of the aforementioned websites for other purposes without the knowledge of Investitionsbank Sachsen-Anhalt and Handball Magdeburg GmbH, in particular by downloading and/or copying photos. He can revoke his consent at any time with effect for the future. In this case, the Investitionsbank Sachsen-Anhalt or Handball Magdeburg GmbH will immediately remove the photos from the pages and inform known recipients of the revocation. A refusal or subsequent revocation of consent has no influence on his participation in the event. Furthermore, he is aware that the Investitionsbank Sachsen-Anhalt or Handball Magdeburg GmbH are entitled to publish photos that show him in the background, but in which he is not the focus of the actual image (e.g. a crowd of spectators at an event) even without consent.
How do I receive my prize?
The tickets will be sent in good time before the match by e-mail to the e-mail address given on the form as a print@home ticket.
If the personal data provided by the winner is incorrect, exclusion may be made.
Only one prize per participant is possible during the competition.
Data protection
By participating in the competition, the participant accepts the online competition terms and conditions and agrees that their personal data (name, Facebook address, and, in the event of a prize draw, postal address for prize delivery) will be collected, processed, and stored by Handball Magdeburg GmbH for the purpose of prize fulfillment and solely in connection with the competition. They agree that, in the event of winning, their name will be published on the SC Magdeburg Facebook page. The data will be handled in accordance with the provisions of the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The data will be deleted when it is no longer needed for the administration of the competition, but no later than after the competition has ended. Miscellaneous
Handball Magdeburg GmbH reserves the right to exclude contributions from participation and to delete them if they fail to complete the task or violate the Facebook Community Standards: www.facebook.com/communitystandards. Handball Magdeburg GmbH reserves the right to adapt, change or cancel the competition at any time. These terms and conditions of participation can be changed by Handball Magdeburg GmbH at any time without separate notification. Legal recourse is excluded. Only the law of the Federal Republic of Germany is applicable.
Facebook Exclusion
This competition is in no way connected to Facebook and is in no way sponsored, supported or organised by Facebook. The recipient of the information provided is not Facebook, but Handball Magdeburg GmbH. The information provided will be used exclusively for the competition of Handball Magdeburg GmbH and will then be deleted again. All questions, comments or complaints about the competition should not be addressed to Facebook, but to the organiser of the competition: Handball Magdeburg GmbH. The participant indemnifies Facebook from any claims in connection with the competition.
