#ehrentrIBüne: SCM and IB continue cooperation

Whether in sports clubs, the volunteer fire brigade, social institutions, disaster control or culture – day after day, countless volunteers make a valuable contribution to togetherness in Saxony-Anhalt. Their use often takes place in the background, but is invaluable for social life.

As a sign of recognition, SC Magdeburg and the Investitionsbank Sachsen-Anhalt have launched the #ehrentrIBüne. Volunteers can apply for SCM home games in the GETEC Arena. There are 20 free tickets available for each match.

Since the start of the campaign, numerous sports, welfare and fire brigade clubs as well as other everyday heroes have been welcomed to the #ehrentrIBüne. With the first home game of the new season on September 3 against the Füchse Berlin, the initiative is now entering its seventh season.

For IB board member Mandy Schmidt, the promotion of volunteering has a special significance: “For us as a development bank, social responsibility is an important part of our mission. Sport connects people and strengthens togetherness and the sense of togetherness in the country. Commitment to a good cause deserves recognition. With the #ehrentrIBüne, we would like to make this commitment visible and say thank you from the bottom of our hearts to the people who volunteer for others.”

As diverse as volunteering is, so have the participating groups so far. This is also shown by the current campaign of the IB.
