TBV coach Florian Kehrmann: “It was a sensational atmosphere in the hall. This then results in an atmosphere in which two teams that go into the encounter with a certain disappointment have received a lot of energy. Magdeburg has given us few chances recently. But today we manage to give them tasks again and again and have control in the game. And then the team grows and we pull the thing.”
Bennet Wiegert: “Congratulations to TBV. We would have liked to have taken third place. Disappointment is the right keyword. We weren’t happy after the semi-finals, but I still wished for more today and can’t explain our performance with disappointment alone. We were only able to call up our performance too rarely. The result is still flattering. We must now learn our lessons from this, shake it off and see that it continues. This is difficult, but we will continue on our way.
Matthias Musche: “In the first half, we still played quite sensibly, only going into the break with a small deficit. Lemgo is doing well, on the other hand we have a very bad phase in the second half. We don’t come in to win the game anymore. But that’s sport. Our route is clear: We will continue and pursue our goals in the other competitions.”
