SC Magdeburg wins against HSV Hamburg 41-28 and secures the next points in the Daikin Handball Bundesliga. The reactions and statistics of the game.

HSV coach Torsten Jansen: “Congratulations to SCM. Today, because the first leg was so close, we had a little hope for more. But Magdeburg does what distinguishes it. We are more likely to break out in a cold sweat – and SCM takes advantage of that. We don’t manage to show our quality either at the back or at the front. But we’ll take the experience with us and hopefully learn from it.”

Bennet Wiegert: “It was important for us to start well today. The energy was there from the first minute and we immediately showed that we wanted to win this game at all costs. That certainly had an effect on Hamburg. It was really fun to watch the boys earn this win here. That makes us continue to dream of the big goal.”

Tim Hornke: “We had a very good energy in the game again today. We have succeeded well in implementing our plan. Some of us have been playing together for several years. They get along well with each other and know each other very well – that helps, of course. It’s incredibly fun to play in this team right now. I hope that we can reward ourselves with one to a maximum of two titles in the course of the season.”
