Subscribe to calendar with the subscription link (.ics)

With the following ICS link you can easily subscribe to the calendar. This will automatically keep your appointments up to date. Changes to the calendar are synchronized regularly – depending on the calendar app.

  1. Copy the ICS link.
  2. Open Outlook.
  3. Select File → Account Settings → Account Settings.
  4. Switch to the Internet Calendar tab.
  5. Click New.
  6. Paste the ICS link and confirm with Add.
  7. If necessary, give it a name and save the calendar.
  1. Open Outlook in the browser.
  2. Switch to the calendar.
  3. Click Add calendar.
  4. Select Subscribe from the web.
  5. Paste the ICS link.
  6. Give it a name and click Import or Add.

iPhone or iPad

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Go to Apps → Calendar → Add Calendar Account → Account.
  3. Select Other.
  4. Tap Add Calendar Subscription.
  5. Paste the ICS link.
  6. Tap Next, then tap Save.

Mac

  1. Open the Calendar app.
  2. Select File → New Calendar Subscription.
  3. Paste the ICS link.
  4. Set the desired settings and confirm with OK.

Google Calendar (recommended)

The easiest way to add a calendar subscription via ICS link is in the browser:

  1. Open Google Calendar on your computer.
  2. Click the + to the left of More calendars.
  3. Select By URL.
  4. Paste the ICS link.
  5. Click Add calendar.

The calendar will then be automatically synced to your Google account and will also appear on your Android phone.

Note

A subscribed ICS calendar is read-only. You can view the events, but you can’t edit them. Changes to the calendar are automatically applied when your calendar app updates the calendar.
