For the youngsters of SC Magdeburg, the third home game in a row is scheduled for Saturday, September 19. At 7 p.m., the team will host SV 04 Plauen-Oberlosa. After two home wins in a row, the Magdeburgers want to extend their winning streak in front of their home crowd and get their third home win of the season.

The YoungsterS have already made a successful start to the new season. After the opening defeat at EHV Aue, the Magdeburgers were recently able to defeat both HV Grün-Weiß Werder and Oranienburger HC in front of their home crowd. The team showed that it was able to improve its weak points from the past games. Especially against Oranienburg, the YoungsterS proved their ability to turn around deficits. After three matchdays, the Magdeburgers are in seventh place in the table with two wins and one defeat.

The guests from Plauen were able to win all their first three games of the season and are currently in third place in the table, directly behind EHV Aue and TSV Altenholz. Most recently, Plauen-Oberlosa prevailed 25-22 against DHK Flensborg. Previously, a narrow 31-30 victory against Stralsund HV and a 33-38 away win at HV Grün-Weiß Werder were achieved. The guests travel to Magdeburg with a lot of self-confidence.

Already last season, both teams delivered high-scoring and hard-fought duels. In the first leg, the YoungsterS were able to prevail 40-37 and convinced with a strong team performance. In the second half of the season, however, the Magdeburgers had to admit defeat with 36-38. Despite great fighting spirit, it was not enough to win after an intense game.

Now the YoungsterS have the next opportunity to compete against Plauen-Oberlosa in front of their home crowd. The team wants to build on the recent performances and prove its development. Kick-off is on Saturday, September 19 at 7 p.m. in the Wolfgang-Lakenmacher-Halle. Admission is free.
