A piece of SCM history for the home: The former hall floor of the GETEC Arena is now available as an exclusive memento in the SCM shop – personally signed by Bennet Wiegert.
If the Magdeburg hall floor could tell stories, there would certainly be some interesting anecdotes. For thirteen years, from 2013 to 2026, the parquet in the GETEC Arena was the stage for great moments. After its expansion this summer, parts of it are now available for your own four walls.
This is where the games on the way to the German Championships in 2022, 2024 and 2026 were played – and then the titles were celebrated together with fans and team. There were also special evenings internationally. The furious 28-23 win against Barça in October 2024, for example, remains unforgettable. In May 2023, Wisła Płock also took the decisive step into the EHF FINAL4 with a 30-28 win – an important milestone on the way to later triumph in the Champions League. And these are just a few of the many emotional moments that have taken place here in recent years.
Now some of these memories can be brought into one’s own four walls – while stocks last.
The 18 x 18 centimeter original pieces are mounted on a 25 x 25 centimeter acrylic plate. The titles won are engraved on it. Each copy is also provided with a certificate of authenticity and an individual piece number. As a special extra, head coach and managing director of sport Bennet Wiegert personally signs each piece by hand.
