First home game against promoted team from Werder

For the youngsters of SC Magdeburg, the first home game of the new season in the 3rd league men’s relay north-east is scheduled for Saturday, September 5. At 7 p.m., the team will host the newly promoted HV Grün-Weiß Werder.
For the guests from Werder, it is the first season in the 3rd division. Last season, the team was extremely successful in the Regionalliga Ostsee-Spree and secured promotion with 46:4 points. At the start of the new league, however, Werder had to admit defeat to SV 04 Plauen-Oberlosa 33:38 in the first home game. Now the next challenge in the new league is ahead for the guests.
The YoungsterS, for their part, had to admit defeat last weekend at the season opener at EHV Aue with 32:30. Despite the defeat, the team showed a strong performance and gave the reigning league leader a close duel for long stretches. This style of play can be built on for the coming games.
Now the YoungsterS want to build on the good performance from Aue in front of their home crowd and score the first points of the new season. Against the promoted team from Werder, the first home win should be achieved with a lot of motivation and support. Throw-off is at 7 p.m. in the Wolfgang-Lakenmacher-Halle. Come by, admission is free as always!
