SC Magdeburg opens the season with Hummel Cup

Here we go again! The handball players of SC Magdeburg invite you to the Hummel Cup on August 11 and thus to the season opening for the new season. As every year, there is a lot on offer.
Finally handball again in the GETEC Arena! Show stage, autograph session, games of the youngsters and the professionals – this year there is also a colorful program for the big season opening of SC Magdeburg. From 3.30 p.m., visitors can experience all kinds of things in and in front of the hall.
The highlight of the Hummel Cup is the test match of the German champions against GWD Minden (7 p.m.), before which the YoungsterS have a test match (4.30 p.m.).
After the games, “Ventura Vox” will provide entertainment from 8.25 p.m. on the stage of our media partner radio SAW on the forecourt of the GETEC Arena.
Season ticket customers as well as sponsors have the opportunity to use their usual seats at the Hummel Cup in Magdeburg free of charge. For this purpose, the corresponding ticket for the 2026/27 season should be carried digitally or printed.
Free ticket sales start on Tuesday, August 4 at 12 noon. Tickets can be purchased via the SCM online shop and the local fan shop (Breiter Weg 190, 39104 Magdeburg) as well as all known advance booking offices.
