Without sneakers, resin and ball: SC Magdeburg presents its players in the video series “Off Court” away from the hall. Sometimes idyllic by the lake, sometimes in the heart of the city.
The third episode is all about Philipp Weber – about the connection to his homeland to “his city”, the compatibility of professional sports and family life, hobbies that have shaped him in the past and what moves him today.
How did it actually come about that someone who didn’t enjoy handball very much as a child, but is now the holder of numerous titles, dedicated himself to the sport? What is it like for him to live out a professional dream with SCM on the one hand and rarely see his own family on the other hand due to the numerous travels? And what does he actually enjoy more: motocross, fishing or a trip to the countryside?
The 33-year-old backcourt player answers these and other questions from presenter Stephan Michme in the third episode of “Off Court”.
