SC Magdeburg wins the TruckScout24 EHF FINAL4 of the Machineseeker EHF Champions League against Aalborg Handbold with 32:26 and secures bronze. The reactions and statistics of the game.

Aalborg coach Simon Dahl: “We had to overcome a lot of disappointment today, you could see that. SCM quickly took the lead – and we couldn’t catch up with that. Magdeburg was just too good for us. It was something special to come here to Cologne and of course it hurts, but we still played a great season.”

Bennet Wiegert: “Saturday was disappointing for us and it wasn’t easy to prepare the team for today’s game. But we managed to focus again. We can end the season with a win – and that’s a good feeling. This season is over, the next one will start again soon and so it goes on and on.”

Gisli Kristjansson: “Today was simply a good end to a great season. Now we’re going on vacation. I’m looking forward to clearing my head a bit and coming to rest. I would like to say to our fans: Thank you for this incredible support over the entire season. Today’s game was definitely for you.
