First Away Win of the Season

The SCM YoungsterS won their first away game this season.
They played against DHK Flensborg and won clearly with 27:34 (12:17).
This was their fourth win in five games this season.

Like last week, the YoungsterS started the game well.
They got an early lead.
The team from Magdeburg played focused in attack and defense.
They controlled the game and went into half-time with a 17:12 lead.
Goalkeeper Oskar Stieglitz played well with many strong saves.
He gave his team more confidence.

After half-time, the YoungsterS kept their strong play.
They made their lead even bigger.
At one point, the Magdeburg team was ahead by ten goals.
The team managed their energy well during the whole game.
Noah Hensen scored 12 goals, the most for his team.
Raphael Welsch also made important plays by helping the team.
Sebastian Bialas was strong in attack and defense.
Mats Brigzisnky scored many goals too.

DHK Flensborg is known for having one of the best defenses.
Because of that, coach Christoph Theuerkauf was very happy after the game.
He said, “We are the best attack team, people said in the hall.
We showed that this is true.”

The game ended with a clear 27:34 away win for the YoungsterS.
With now four wins in five games, the team from Magdeburg is in third place in the league.
They are just behind MTV Braunschweig and TSV Altenholz.

After this successful away game, the YoungsterS will play at home again.
On Saturday, October 3rd, they will play against NHV Concordia Delitzsch.
The game starts at 7 p.m.
