We wanted to do something different.
Our seven-against-six tactic worked well lately – but not today.
Magdeburg used this and took the balls.
In the second half, we could not keep up in the positional game.
For us, SCM is also not the measuring stick.”

That was our goal.
I liked how serious we were from start to finish.
We had prepared the seven-against-six and had the right answers.
Because of that, we forced Wetzlar back into positional play.
Maybe we could have gone into the break with a bigger lead – but the goalkeeper on the other side did a good job.
In the end, we are very happy today.”
